Music/Concerts
Sept. 7-11

Million Dollar Quartet

On December 4, 1956 an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever. Million Dollar Quartet brings that legendary December night to life featuring an incredible score performed live onstage including: "Blue Suede Shoes", "Fever", "Walk the Line", "Sixteen Tons", "Who Do You Love", "That's All Right", "Folsom Prison Blues", "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On", "Hound Dog"... and more.

The Rathskeller

Live music all year round housed in a historic, architecturally-notable German cultural center. 

 

The Rathskeller (Indianapolis' oldest restaurant) has been in operation since 1894, and still serves such traditional Germanic fare as Sauerbraten and Schnitzel (along with such less-traditional fare as grilled yellow-fin tuna and shrimp scampi). 

Luke Bryan Concert

Five-time Entertainer of the Year and American Idol celebrity judge Luke Bryan kicks off his 2024 “Mind Of A Country Boy Tour” this April featuring special guests George Birge, Larry Fleet, and Ella Langley.

Sports Events
Sept. 7-11

WNBA Basketball

The Indiana Fever are one of the top teams in the WNBA and they have an electric atmosphere at home games. 

​

The best fans in the WNBA make Indiana Fever basketball memorable every night the team takes the court at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Football

Indianapolis plays host to the NFL's Colts franchise. The Colts are one of the oldest professional football teams in America with history going back to the 1950's. Officially becoming members of the NFL by joining the league during the 1970 merger.

The Colts schedule for 2024 has not been released yet. Stay tuned for info on games and events. 

Baseball

The Indianapolis Indians, Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. 

 

The team plays their home games at Victory Field, which has received numerous national accolades as one of the best minor league stadiums in the United States.

Crackers Comedy Club

Ellen DeGeneres, Jay Leno and Ray Romano are just a few celebrities who have graced the stage at this comedy club. Located in the heart of downtown's entertainment district, Crackers Comedy Club has been a fan favorite since 1980.

The Message Is The Medium 

The Message is the Medium traces the evolution of contemporary art history from the early 20th century through today, with an emphasis on experimental works beyond painting and sculpture. 

  

Guests will see how contemporary artists innovate with new media, expanding the possibilities of art beyond historical categories.   

  

The exhibition embraces the boundary-pushing spirit of contemporary art to delight guests. 

Mandela: The Official Exhibition 

Lawyer. Revolutionary. Political prisoner. World leader. Elder statesman. Human rights icon. Global advocate for change. Nelson Mandela has been all these things to people across the world. Mandela: The Official Exhibition provides a unique opportunity for you to learn more about the iconic freedom fighter and political leader, Nelson Mandela. 

The Lume - Dali Alive 

Mystery and discovery abound.  Make no illusion. Salvador Dalí’s mesmerizing works will adorn THE LUME Indianapolis on Floor 4 of the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields.  

  

The exhibition will showcase four large, vibrant watercolor paintings by Salvador Dalí from the IMA’s permanent collection. The paintings were originally designed for the opera, The Spanish Lady and the Roman Cavalier, and will be making their collective museum debut for the first time since they were acquired in 1973.
